Though Polk Street's been undergoing some major road construction over the past year (and will continue through who knows how much longer--I'm sure it'll be awesome once it's completed), the events being held have been increasing in both frequency and attendance. We LOVE it!
The life along Polk Gulch is great, and to see that the community events in our neighborhood have been gaining momentum is refreshing to us, and it's introducing a beautiful part of the city that many may not have experienced before, including our little picture frame shop.
SFAC PASSPORT EVENT, October 23, 2017
Last week's event on Polk Street marked the 9th Annual Passport Event, hosted by the San Francisco Arts Commission (SFAC). We were fortunate enough to be included as one of the businesses to help promote one of the 16 artists that were featured at the event: Mansur Nurullah. With 250 to 300 guests that stopped by to get their passport stamped by Mr. Nurullah, we hope he enjoyed the event as much as we did.
For more information on Mansur Nurullah's art, visit his website at www.whaleblah.com or view his Instagram page, here: www.instagram.com/mansurnurullah.
Take a look at some photos from the SFAC Passport Event.
See you all at the next event!
